Aspects Care Homes Ltd provides services to people with Mental Health complaints such as depression, self-harm, arson and forensic backgrounds.
Hollyhead house is a 4 bedded residential unit that is split into 4 flats to promote an intense short term stay life skills programme. We support males with mental health and offer a personalised care package that is tailored to each individual.
We offer and promote a “life skills program” which is completed by the use of person centred approaches so each service user within the home and we can complete the program in a way which benefits them the most.
We work closely with each individual to prepare them for Supportive Living.
They receive a high quality care package with support in all areas needed such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, personal hygiene, filling in forms, applying for work or education, applying for benefits and how to manage appointments and day to day living within a community.
Staff are on hand 24/7 to provide support for each individual as and when needed.
We take pride in the care and service we offer, all of our staff are vetted rigorously prior to commencing employment. Staff are trained in-house to our standards and those of the CQC. We also ensure new staff are willing to train towards NVQs in health and social care if they do not already have this.
We aim to provide a safe, secure, fulfilling service within our home.
Each service user is allocated a key worker who will ensure their personal needs, preferences, wishes are heard and catered for. Staff use holistic approaches to better the environment and encourage better positive outcomes for each service user.
The staff team pride themselves in being considerate, polite, and adaptable and ensure they are always readily available to offer the support the service users require.
With the use of weekly planners, and weekly well-being checks we can ensure no stone is unturned when it comes to support that needs highlighting.
Staff support service users to develop a productive role within the home and within the community. Support staff will ensure service users are enabled to have access to the community and establish positive peer support from others within the home.
Our team support service users to build on their self-esteem and life skills to live more independently within the care setting.
The staff also support service users to explore wider opportunities within the community.
